Fall

I’ve always liked the Fall, mostly because of the beautiful colours. This year, Fall seemed to have came out of nowhere. Perhaps it’s because I was away for 2 weeks on vacation in the warm and sunny Mediterranean. When I left Toronto, it was still nice and warm. When I arrived back from the vacation, the leaves had changed colour, and the temperature had dropped down to aorund 13 celcius!

Time is flying by quite quickly especially with so much happening in my life! I just thank God everyday for His blessings! :)

I know it’s still many months away, but I’m counting down to Jun 19, 2010, especially since I’ve bought the wedding dress! It was such a wonderful experience. Before I went, I was both anxious and excited. Anxious because I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to try on the dresses, thinking that most stores would only carry smaller size samples. So I was very thankful that the store I went to had samples that were closer to my size, so I could see what the dress would look like on me, instead of envisioning it by looking at pictures. I found my dress in the first and only store I went to, and it was the 3rd dress I tried on. :) I think this has to be one of my most exciting day apart from the day I got engaged!

Now that I have my dress on order, my next task is to help my lovely matron of honour and bridesmaid find their perfect dresses.

September

And just like that, August 2009 is over, and we’ve entered into September. This means going back to normal working hours, meetings are starting up again. I’ve truly enjoyed this summer, although not the best of weathers, wonderful things have happened to me. :)

Now I’m looking forward to a Mediterranean cruise in 2 weeks. It’s like extending my Summer for just a bit more!

After the cruise, will be a busy time for me with work, and other more exciting planning and preparation. I an excited, and can’t wait!

Joy

Wow, it’s been more than a month since I last posted! Makes me think that perhaps the reason I blogged so much before was because I mostly blogged to vent. :)

Lots have been going on in my life, and I’m going through a very joyful and exciting time. Have also been busy, so the updates on this blog will probably continue to be slow.

Not sure if anyone has really been reading this anyway!

Weird day

Weird day today:

Thunderstorm during annual company summer bbq – tent being blown over, speaker knocked down.

Farrah Fawcett died.

Michael Jackson died.

Saw two very clear rainbows!

Today is the Day

Today is the day, You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

Today is the day, You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I won’t worry about tomorrow

I’m trusting in what You say

Today is the day!   (Lincoln Brewster)

I really like this song!

Still around

I’m still around, just not much to blog about really. :) Weather is getting nicer now, in fact, it has been pretty mild the past few days.

Really can’t believe how time is just flyimg by. Work has been good, brand responsibilities have changed, and so I’m learning new therapeutic areas, and it is great.

All in all, I’m thankful that I still have a job and thankful for God’s provision and blessings in my life.

The Power Of Your Name

Just want to share this really powerful song, and also the powerful video that someone made using the song. The song is called The Power Of Your Name and it is written by Lincoln Brewster and Mia Fieldes, and sung by Lincoln Brewster and Darlene Zschech.

sick at home

So I’ve caught a cold, mostly coughing right now. I decided to take a sick day, so I can rest up and get better. It’s been a while since I’ve taken a sick day, I can’t remember the last time I did that. Most of the time, I think I just went to work sick and got over it that way. :)

Anyway, this Winter so far has been cold and snowy. I’m ready for Spring to come.

Back home in Toronto!

So my short trip to HK is over and now I’m back home in Toronto. It’s really good to be home. Although I had a wonderful time visiting my family and playing with my nephew and niece, I felt like HK was not a place I like to be in at all. :) The only time I saw the blue sky was on my plane back to Toronto once the plane went above the clouds and smog.

I am very happy to be home!!

Happy 2009!!
