More than a year!

Wow, I have neglected this blog. Time certainly flies. It’s been more than a year since I’ve posted. Life has been busy but wonderful. I feel so blessed.

Almost a month

It’s been almost a month since my wedding day! The day of the wedding turned out to be a really beautiful day, beautiful weather, beautiful ceremony, and beautiful family and friends celebrating with us.

I’m so thankful to God for letting me marry my best friend. Some days, I feel like I’m in a dream still!

I’m a very blessed woman.

Getting married today!

I am getting married today to the most wonderful man, my best friend.

Have been awake since 3:30 am. Weather forecast says thunder showers, but so far the sky look okay. Regardless of weather, I will be getting married. I know that God is in control, and today, special that it is, is only the first day of a lifetime of adventure with my love.

Thank you, God, for everything blessing and trial that you have brought to us these past years!

“Spring”ing forward

I guess I’m a couple weeks late since we already sprung foward an hour.

Time flies by for me, just busy with preparing for new  house and wedding and work. New house closing in less than a month. Wedding in less than 3 months. In the meantime, work is also busy.

Having lots of fun buying furniture, but not looking forward as much to the packing, purging and moving part.

Really looking forward to the new chapter in my life!

February already!

Where did January go?!? Although, in a way, I’m happy that time is flying by.

Preparations for the big day is going well! I’m sure though that even if we plan everythign down to a tee, there will still be things that will go wrong that day.  I don’t think I will care on that day, because I will be marrying the love of my life!

So enough for being mushy. Getting ready to go for another facial, and also for a hair appointment. All this for one big special day.

Happy New Year!

The first decade of the new millennium is over. We move towards the first year of the 2nd decade. 2009 was a year filled with blessings and joy for me. Last night I celebrated my last New Year’s Eve as a single woman and the first one as an engaged couple with my fiance.

Things to look forward to in 2010:

1) Closing of new house!

2) The big W

3) The big H after the big W !

4) Spending the rest of 2010 as a Mrs.!!

Fall

I’ve always liked the Fall, mostly because of the beautiful colours. This year, Fall seemed to have came out of nowhere. Perhaps it’s because I was away for 2 weeks on vacation in the warm and sunny Mediterranean. When I left Toronto, it was still nice and warm. When I arrived back from the vacation, the leaves had changed colour, and the temperature had dropped down to aorund 13 celcius!

Time is flying by quite quickly especially with so much happening in my life! I just thank God everyday for His blessings!

I know it’s still many months away, but I’m counting down to Jun 19, 2010, especially since I’ve bought the wedding dress! It was such a wonderful experience. Before I went, I was both anxious and excited. Anxious because I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to try on the dresses, thinking that most stores would only carry smaller size samples. So I was very thankful that the store I went to had samples that were closer to my size, so I could see what the dress would look like on me, instead of envisioning it by looking at pictures. I found my dress in the first and only store I went to, and it was the 3rd dress I tried on. I think this has to be one of my most exciting day apart from the day I got engaged!

Now that I have my dress on order, my next task is to help my lovely matron of honour and bridesmaid find their perfect dresses.

September

And just like that, August 2009 is over, and we’ve entered into September. This means going back to normal working hours, meetings are starting up again. I’ve truly enjoyed this summer, although not the best of weathers, wonderful things have happened to me.

Now I’m looking forward to a Mediterranean cruise in 2 weeks. It’s like extending my Summer for just a bit more!

After the cruise, will be a busy time for me with work, and other more exciting planning and preparation. I an excited, and can’t wait!

Joy

Wow, it’s been more than a month since I last posted! Makes me think that perhaps the reason I blogged so much before was because I mostly blogged to vent.

Lots have been going on in my life, and I’m going through a very joyful and exciting time. Have also been busy, so the updates on this blog will probably continue to be slow.

Not sure if anyone has really been reading this anyway!

Thunderstorm during annual company summer bbq – tent being blown over, speaker knocked down.

Farrah Fawcett died.

Michael Jackson died.

Saw two very clear rainbows!
